Dr. Joseph P. Arisco, M.D., a psychiatrist who cared for patients in the Flint and Tyler area for many years, retired from practice on February 28, 2025. Anyone searching for his office, or simply trying to understand what became of his practice, will find the answer here.
Northeast Texas Psychiatry, PLLC is now located at Dr. Arisco's former office, 10760 FM 2813, Suite 500 in Flint, and is reachable at the same phone number, (903) 509-0999. It is an independent practice, and it holds the patient records from Dr. Arisco's practice. His former patients are welcome to be in touch, whether about those records or about requesting care as a new patient.
A recommendation from Dr. Arisco
Establishing care with the practice
When he retired, Dr. Arisco recommended Dr. Anna Kuklina, M.D., who was joining the practice at that time. Today, Northeast Texas Psychiatry is led by two psychiatrists, Ryan Poch, M.D. and Anna Kuklina, M.D., who provide care at the Flint office. Anyone who would like to learn more about them can read exactly who provides care here.
Former patients of Dr. Arisco are welcome to request care as new patients. That begins with a brief new patient request, which the practice's physicians review directly to decide whether the practice can responsibly take on a patient's care. Anyone weighing their options may also wish to speak with their primary care provider or local county medical society.

Requesting records from Dr. Arisco's practice
Northeast Texas Psychiatry holds the patient records from Dr. Arisco's practice and maintains them on his former patients' behalf. To request a copy, or to have records sent to another provider, complete and sign the practice's Authorization to Release Records from a Former Practice. It takes only a few minutes on a phone or computer. A photo of a government-issued ID is a required part of the form: the office uses it to verify identity, and a request submitted without it is incomplete and cannot be processed.
Once it is signed, download the form and return it in any of the ways below. They are listed from most private to least, and the choice of how to send is entirely the patient's.
