A private outpatient practice in Flint, Texas

Physician-led adult psychiatry for Northeast Texas

At Northeast Texas Psychiatry, every appointment is with a psychiatrist, the same physicians who own the practice. We keep our patient panels deliberately small so that visits are unhurried, diagnosis is careful, and treatment is planned for the long term.

All new patient requests are reviewed directly by our physicians prior to scheduling to determine whether we can responsibly assume care.

Conditions We Treat

We provide outpatient evaluation and treatment for adults with:

Care is grounded in careful diagnostic assessment, with attention to both symptom relief and long-term functional stability.

Access & Panel Size

We intentionally maintain smaller patient panels to ensure adequate time, continuity, and clinical depth for each patient. For this reason, we do not offer open online scheduling.

All new patient requests are reviewed directly by our physicians to determine whether the care requested falls within the scope of services we provide and whether we can responsibly assume ongoing outpatient treatment. We recognize that seeking psychiatric care can feel vulnerable, and we approach each request with care and deliberation.

Scheduling & Care Setting

Visits are by appointment only. We do not provide walk-in or urgent psychiatric services. Care is delivered in a private outpatient setting with an emphasis on professionalism, confidentiality, and continuity.

This practice is not equipped to provide emergency psychiatric care; individuals experiencing an emergency should call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency department.

Payment Model

We operate as a direct-pay practice and do not contract with insurance. This model allows our physicians to practice independently, preserve longer visit times, and prioritize clinical judgment without administrative limitations imposed by third parties. We can provide documentation for patients who wish to pursue out-of-network reimbursement independently.
